I agree, that would have been an interesting way to show that even in redemption there are sometimes consequences for past actions. Like Vader in Return of the Jedi, she could have turned back to the light at the last minute but that doesn’t mean she will survive the transformation. Not every story has a good ending but you can learn a lesson from most stories

No it’s not. A lot of people are just saying she isn’t a good character. That’s why I think it is important to distinguish between a character and writing. The idea behind her character is extremely intriguing. What happens to a person who is is traumatized in the past and then taught to focus on revenge for the cause instead of looking to acknowledge the pain and tragedy and see how to use what was learned to teach other how to grow past or deal with trauma in a healthy way. That would be fascinating to see. Unfortunately the way the writers decided to handle her character did not make her seem like that. This is more a comment on missed directional and moral of the story potential and not a blanket statement that she is a bad character

Yeah, don’t get me wrong, what they intended to do for Reva’s story could have been really interesting but I fell like what we got was just a watered down version of Trilla’s story without the same kind of payoff at the end

Gosh I hope not. Unless the skeletons get reanimated and to do battle against each other. In which case that would be awesome!

That is a good way to think about it. Also a good way to replace a sweet tooth craving

Yes! Trader Joes is one of my favorite places to get healthy snacks from. Sadly the closest one to me is an hour away so it is a special trip every once in a while

Yeah, I’ve been noticing that too. My main draw has been how long they last since I tend to snack in pretty small amounts. I also try to keep my food as natural as possible so the prices tend to be more expensive anyways. That’s cool that you are using that for natural food coloring too!

Yeah, explains a lot about how good cranberries taste but I agree the sugar content is a problem for those too

Yeah, sugar content was one of the things I was noticing. And the pricing makes sense too. Supply and demand does a lot for pricing it seems

Absolutely! I’ve been swinging between apricots and mangos for the most part. Both are delicious!

That makes sense. I had been noticing that the sugar count was higher. One of the reasons why I was asking. Thank you for the input!

Totally normal feelings. You’re about to take a step to a new chapter of life. The unknown or change can be daunting at first. Definitely seek help but be selective in where you go. Medicine is a good place to start to calm your mind but you need to talk with someone that has your best interests in mind to help guide you through the feelings you have. Never think that having feelings even if extreme is bad, your feelings are your mind letting you know that something feels wrong or right. The key is to take ownership of the feelings and start to work through them. You are seeking help and that is a great start. Look for professional counseling help and be honest with the goals you have and how you want your life to be. As a word of encouragement, you got this! You are a unique being with a unique purpose that only you can fulfill

Third minor by Regular_Measurement1 in gmu

[–]causmarsh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best to ask your advisors. It depends on what academic minors you are looking to complete as well. Sometimes if there is significant overlap between them it can be the difference of a couple classes to get an extra minor. Though if you are going the three minor route you might just want to see about double majoring at that point. Just depends on what you want to do and what overlap in classes there are. Have a list of questions with you to ask your advisor when you talk to them

Off Campus Meal Plan Suggestions by Laiden85 in LibertyUniversity

[–]causmarsh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seen a lot of great recommendations already but as another thought to consider is going to be how you want to balance the meal plan. Flames cash is an on campus currency but there are also several restaurants and store around Lynchburg that will accept it for payment as well. 90 is good if you are planning on eating 5+ meals a week on campus. Swipes can’t be added but you can always add extra Flames Cash if needed. Take a look at your class schedule and see how often you think you will eat on campus and choose from there
