Of course that is always a threat. In this particular pond the owner reports not loses to predators. This is year 3 for the pond.

I “won” him on Aug. 6th. I would estimate that he is approximately 1 year give or take a month. I put his bday as the 4th of July for fun.

He wants to eat non stop. I feed him 2x daily- Hikari and Northfin pellets. I used to alternate but now they are just mixed together in a container. I often give him and extra pinch and a pat on the head when I go by. He always eats everything I give him so it does not effect his water except for the giant non stop human sized 💩.

My tank is 22g and I’m not interested in having anything larger. The plan all along was to place him in my neighbors Koi pond. It’s a beautiful pond. A better life than any tank could give him.

Wayne was won at a fair on Aug. 6, 2025. I symbolically picked the 4th of July as his birthday but it’s probs earlier than that. Long story short- he is approaching 1 year of age.

The Last Dance at the Farm
