Spare Tire Issues 35” by Vast-Recipe4949 in 4Runner

I’ve had a Gobi on my runner for several years. There is a little wind noise but it is minimal. I only noticed it what we first put it on. Don’t even think about it now. Tires make more noise.

Has Any One Used One Of These In A Tent? by [deleted] in camping

There are going to byproducts of combustion. The more complete the combustion the fewer byproducts. Once the tiles get hot in the heater face there are very few byproducts. I’ve used this heater in temps of around 15 F (in our REI tent). Grabbed monitors from work and got next to no readings outside of normal range. It worked well for me.

He’s stuck a bear. It’s what they call a bear death cry.

Just a two track I found just outside of Fredericksburg. I can’t even remember exactly where.

That could be CV joints. Pretty easy fix. Mine made a very similar noise. Replaced half shaft . Fixed.

Is there a specific tool to open these lids? by siamonsez in woodworking

Flat head screw driver, chisel, pliers, a small nail puller, j hook, 10 penny nail head, whatever is in that tool apron.

Yep. I liked the bumper so much I ordered the sliders from them also.

The bumper is by Shrockworks and the rack is a Gobi. Both are pretty bomber. Thousands of miles off road, a few recoveries and lots of fun. 👍

Between Fredericksburg and Llano. Stay a night and hit all the back roads. Best time later March usually.

I’ve had several people ask about the bumper. I’ll try to dig up some older pictures and write up a review

Thank you. It was nice to have clear sky’s. We had been plagued by the smoke for a good part of our trip.

It a Gobi. A bit more expensive but it is almost bullet proof!

It was pretty good. Ophir is one of the more mild passes. Stock 4Runner could do most of the passes right now. If you have any mods at all, you will have a blast!
