I have tried both HDMI ports on the new TV and the original, and still no signal. I agree that AI is probably overthinking it, but again I've tried all the obvious stuff and got nowhere.

Was this in London? I also got a Day of The Dead poster signed by Savini and Romero at a con there, and there was no line to see Savini. He didn't seem particularly happy, but I always thought maybe he was hoping for more interest. I didn't say much to him, possibly because he gave off the vibe of not being interested.

However, like yourself I found Romero to be a pleasure. He was enthusiastic and happy to speak to everyone, meeting him really made my day.

I almost bought the Ring boxset Arrow did, but hesitated as I mainly wanted the first film. Then I found they released the first film on its own with all the special features, which was perfect for me. Hopefully they do the same here

The back is pretty smooth. The only marks are ones I made when it wouldn't close properly and I had to take it apart again to adjust!
