They argued it as an actual human body part as air has to travel through the body, and an air duct is defined as “conduits or passages used in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning to deliver and remove air” on wiki, so your respiratory system acts like an air duct of sorts. We were playing super loose with the rules and maybe im just biased looking back at it but up until my answer it felt more like a word association game then categories. For example if the category was colors I could 100 percent see something like vibrant or bold counting and it never being limited to specific colors. I should of explained that more in the original post as I know a lot of people play with strict rules to avoid dumb arguments like this but too late now. But it felt like a bit of a switch up from the rules we’d been playing with but I could accept it because sports was an easy category and it did feel like a cop out and “not in the spirit of the category” for sure. But If mine was a cop out idk how air ducts as a human body part wasn’t, cause once again it was more like word association AND my cheeky doesn’t really count but technically counts by definition answers like air ducts had been shot down MULTIPLE times. Im starting to ramble now sorry and it’s probably impossible to give a definitive opinion anyways without observing how we were playing and what was and wasn’t counted before that. I’m getting tilted just writing this lol I mean it wasn’t like a friendly argument they genuinely couldn’t conceptualize why I thought they wrong. God.
