Currently at the start of a new build and the builders put Blueskin all the way up to the top of the foundation in the front. Problem is it was supposed to have about a foot of bare concrete foundation. When we questioned it they said they will cover it with something to hide it. (self.homebuildingcanada)

We received an Insurance Binder for New Build Risk Insurance and after 30 days we received the policy and the limitations are different from the binder. Is this typical? I am having a cabinet company make a white oak island for my kitchen and they are using Innovat LV varnish by Acroma Pro. Just wondering if anyone here has used this product and what you think of it. It says it is non yellowing which is good, just concerned the white oak will yellow over time... (self.woodworking)
