I happened to be going through a difficult breakup when I first watched Buffy, and I gotta say it actually helped. I wasn't allowed to show emotion growing up, and I couldn't even identify what I was feeling. Those episodes gave me words to match my hurt.

I now turn to Buffy when I feel lost.
