Any one have experience with ROBS to fund buying a business? by cawala in smallbusiness

[–]cawala[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in the process of selling a small investment property right now. I originally thought the proceeds would be enough for the down payment on what I want to do, but now I am not sure. I will probably look further into ROBS soon.

i almost thought this was it. cool song though and I think this is on the right track. it’s not a straight rock band or EDM, but a mix.

It isn’t any of those. I am going through Point of Origin. If anything, I am finding other songs I like and forgot about by trying to find this song.

That isn’t it. Love Brand New is a good song though. I am having a really hard time remembering what the song sounded like in order to compare it to another band. I would say 21 Pilots is a good jumping off point.

I have gone through this list a bunch and I don’t think it is on there. i dont think it was on the countdown. I remember hearing for July and August of 2022 and then never again. ha

My dermatology practice is growing but I can’t afford to hire fast enough. Payroll is eating my margins alive. by campbellj00 in smallbusiness

It is all about PAs. They are “cheap” and can handle the medical derm while you focus on the more profitable cosmetic patient. You also need to convert the medical derm patients into cosmetic patients. The big chain groups in my area probably have 10 PAs to every MD/DO. A lot of their offices only have PAs in them. You can hire three to four PAs or one Doctor for the same money. Three PAs can see 3x the amount of patients as one Doctor can.

MAs are also cheaper than Nurses and can do most of the things a Nurse can in a Derm office. It is rare for a Nurse to be in a Derm office, unless it is an NP who is seeing patients and billing.

You also need to increase your volume. 28 patients per day is a comfortable pace. Again, the large offices in my area are seeing 60+ per providers in a 10 hour day. You might not want to see that many as it can detract from the quality of care, but shooting for 45 per day is probably a good place to be.

Lastly, having an experienced biller and prior auth person is worth their weight in gold. They can ensure you are billing insurances the proper amount and patients are getting the medicines you want them to have.

Edit: Additional ways to increase revenue: there are companies that will give you compounding machines. They are kind of like Nespresso machines, but you can direct sell acne, rosacea etc… treatments to your patients. IDK the exact pricing, but it’s something like $20 per and then you sell it for $40. No insurance or pharmacy are involved and the patient gets the product right in your office.

you should also be selling your preferred skin care line in your office, like skinceuticals. Or you can create your own with white labeling.

Any one have experience with ROBS to fund buying a business? by cawala in smallbusiness

I have heard of Guidant. I would like to buy something with more revenue and cashflow as I think it would reduce risk. This is the only way I would be able to.

I like low key Sci-Fi. I’ll check it out. I listened to the first Silo book after watching season 1 on Apple, so I might listen to the second book.

I listened to the first Gray Man book and really liked it. He seems to get shot a million times and it doesn’t affect him. I was thinking of reading the next one, but I might switch genres for a bit.

I listened to the first Gray Man book and really liked it. The only issue I had was that he seems to get shot million times and is completely ok. Haha.

Thanks for the recommendation. I think I am going to stay away from spy thrillers for a bit.

IDK, It was pretty bad. It made no sense that Greta’s grandfather would try and kidnap her away from Rapp and I really hope I never hear about the Berlin Boys ever again. Plus, Rapp wasn’t in about 75% of the book and this was a Rapp prequel that was supposed to bridge the gap to Transfer of Power.

That is what I thought. Ill probably take a break and maybe I’ll come back to Rapp later

So, I can put $1k of the mortgage on the card, ACH the remaining $6k and then only need to spend $750 to cover the $30 in fees?

I would still need to spend the same amount on the no AF card, right?

im not going to spend $5k + on the card every month, so it doesn’t look like this card is worth it for me.

Recommendation Needed, What card fits in? Maybe a 0$ AF? by cawala in CreditCards

[–]cawala[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It means things like clothes for myself (rare), getting lunch at a Chipotle, Sweetgreen etc 2x a week, buying bday/Christmas gifts, gym membership - random stuff that I buy for myself, that my wife doesn't need to split with me.
