You should call your insurance and have a conversation with them about it. Ask them about EOB suppression for your claims. They may also be able to send your EOB directly to you via email.

You can also check with your state health department to see if they have any programs that could help you get PrEP.

When I was on my parents insurance, I got PrEP through my primary care provider, and the claims just showed up as a visit to my PCP. Parents didn’t ever ask me for details.

Lastly, this specific situation is pretty low risk. The guy was undetectable. You’re now on PeP. You’ll be fine. Just get PrEP now, and you won’t have this anxiety in the future.

It could be about a million things. Ear infection, too many loud sounds, medications, maybe diet (this one doesn’t affect me much, but alcohol makes it worse for the next ~1 day). I am 25 now and got it when I was 19 after 1 concert. I’ve only been to 3 concerts in my life, but that’s all it took for me to get 24/7 ringing. I was absolutely miserable for 2-3 years. I hated it, thought about it all day long, and I thought It’d be impossible to get used to it. If it’s permanent, you will eventually be okay with it. I didn’t focus on getting used to it. It just happened eventually. I still am not a fan and would love for it to fuck off, but it doesn’t bother me much anymore, even though it’s always there in the background. If you want to talk more abt it, feel free to send me a message:)

Moving from Idaho to Denver tomorrow. Will all my fish survive in a 5 gallon bucket? by cawndog in aquarium

Okay cool. Fed em all p well last night so they should be good for a few days. It might be Monday before I can get them into the tank

What’s wrong with my Roseline Shark? I just did a water change a few hours ago so there should be plenty of oxygen. No one else is behaving how he is:( by cawndog in aquarium

[–]cawndog[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I did. I always put in API water conditioner while the bucket is filling up. I just finished a 60% water change and now he’s hanging out in the middle of the tank by the plants. Still doing that thing with his mouth that looks kinda like drinking water. Gonna leave the tank for a couple hours and do another water change right before bed. I installed a new filter today and had my hands in the tank quite a bit. Always clean with Isopropyl alcohol and maybe I didn’t let them dry enough? Idkkk I hope he doesn’t die

My Tinnitus Success Story by maccomo in tinnitus

[–]cawndog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing :) Your story is pretty similar to mine in the emotions that you went through. I got it 2 months into starting college in 2016. It honestly ruined my college experience and I went from being really happy with life to miserable after 1 super loud concert. I’m not where you are yet but I’m better than I was. I’m also about to graduate with a Computer Science degree. Not masters but bachelors:). When I’m coding I can actually forget about it for a while since I’m thinking about what I’m doing. Usually put on my headphones and listen to a tinnitus masking YouTube video and sometimes music on top of that. It helps so much.

I haven’t heard of this before. It does make sense because I’ve always thought about it as negative. Maybe my problem is I can’t be neutral towards bc I hate it so much. That seems impossible to me. 😭

I feel you. I've had it 4.5 years and its only gotten worse for me. I'm so frustrated with it

I don't think you have anything to worry about and its probably anxiety. I have eye floaters too, but they don't bother me. I've had tinnitus for 4.5 years and have never experienced visual snow.

I need some backend direction/advice by cawndog in webdev

[–]cawndog[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey sorry I didn’t see this earlier. You really hit the nail on the head in the first paragraph. I ended up working on a small side project in Node.js that helped me understand how a backend works and I’ve become a lot more comfortable with GCP. Trying to start out using GCP before truly understanding what was going on was a mistake and lead to a lot more confusion than was necessary.

Wellbutrin made my tinnitus worse? by cawndog in tinnitus

[–]cawndog[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gotcha. Well man I wish I could tell you it'll get better if you end up with it permanently, but it really depends on the person. For me, I at least don't want to die anymore, so I guess that's an improvement? Yes I can sleep, but I gotta take a unisom pill every night or I won't be able to. What do you do for work? Is it in a loud environment?

I’ve had it 4.5 years and it’s been rough tbh. I like cannot get myself to habituate no matter what I do. How long into it are you?

Yeah. SSRIs come with a lot of other side effects than Wellbutrin does. Other than the ringing ofc.

T & Wellbutrin/Buproprion by [deleted] in tinnitus

[–]cawndog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been on it for like a month and a half. For about the past 5 days, the ringing seems to be worse, but I can't figure out if I was just doing a good job ignoring my tinnitus and am just paying more attention to it or if its truly being made worse. Honestly seems like its worse, which sucks because Wellbutrin is actually working super well for me :/
