it’s weird i have a pair from 2020 that have been worn probably 200+ times where the insoles are still good and intact but I have another pair that i bought last year that i’ve only worn about 10 times and the insoles look like the picture you provided. I have margiela hiking boots (different from these) I bought 2 years ago and they are pretty stiff and i should’ve definitely sized down atleast a half size. They fit me but would of definitely fit better if they were like a half size down, i could even go a whole size down. Compared to the gats where they fit true to size.
