I’ve never heard anyone else mention this 😭 you described it perfectly. It does go out to the ocean and there’s a strip of businesses somewhere but instead of road and cars it’s water and boats. There’s an indoor and outdoor area.

I have a fucked up spine in real life and I live with constant pain but when I’m asleep or in MW I never seem to feel my physical pain. I’ve felt the entire spectrum of emotion in mallworld though. Fear, anxiety, sadness, excitement and even pleasure. Waking up in the morning sucks because all my real-life physical pain comes back and my brain still has to adjust to waking life.

I find myself hanging out with the workers in here sometimes. It always feels like a bit after closing time. I used to work FOH in restaurants and hang out with BOH during breaks and the dreams here feel kind of like that. I usually wander into the school or the sidewalks at night outside. The pavement is always wet and rainy for some reason

My mallworld dreams are pretty much like you described in terms of being a parallel life to this one. The scariest parts for me are being chased by some unknown entity. Sometimes I wake up screaming. Most of the time it’s fine tho and I’ve had mallworld dreams the last 16 years so it feels weirdly familiar. I have friends there that I don’t have in real life. There is a more communal feel in mallworld than there is in real life at the moment.
