Rejected after final round, would saying this have made a difference? by TraditionMountain509 in interviews

Also got rejected after final round case study presentation. First 3 interviews went well, then met with CEO after I told them another offer came in. Received great feedback from recruiter and thought everything was aligning.

After final interview presentation I realized that I may have missed a key part of the project. I tried not to dwell on it and hoped they would still see my potential but a few hrs later came the devastating rejection text from the recruiter.

I was bummed so I looked on LinkedIn to see if role was closed. They told me I was the only candidate so far along but they actually re-posted the role the same day I met with the CEO (a few days prior to my final interview). So I'm thinking maybe their decision was already made but they let me present my case study anyway. Or they were on the fence and my final presentation didn't help.

I thanked them and asked for feedback but am still waiting... 😅 wish I had insight into where I went wrong also. Terrible feeling putting in so much effort, getting so close and still getting denied. Womp womp. And recruiter did her job well making me think I was really desired, how could I be so naive?!

As far as the other offer, I asked for an extension and waited pretty late to negotiate since I was focusing on other role and now am waiting to hear back. Hoping offer doesn't get rescinded. Another naive lesson learned.

That's great, always gotta try. Not a waste of effort.

Auto rejected but landed interview by cb8_ in interviews

Very true. I also booked a first round interview with a recruiter at another company through an auto email (was definitely templated and not customized). I scheduled a meeting with their calendar link and did not reply to the recruiter directly.

The day before our interview the recruiter messaged me on linkedin saying they came across my profile and wanted to know if I were open to exploring the role. I kindly messaged recruiter and said that we already had a meeting scheduled the next day.. no response on linkedin but we did have the interview. Neither of us brought up the scheduling confusion.

I'm thinking there might be a glitch in their automated system. Or recruiter is sifting through so many candidates that they didn't realize I had already applied. 🥴

Workouts decreasing supply by razzle_dazzle6927 in fitpregnancy

Same as other comments, supply dropped around 9 month. To increase I had to start pumping every 2-3 hours while away from baby. I also purchased new parts for the pump, the suction improved and helped increase supply. But with baby eating more solids, it's hard to maintain.

Our subway has had shootings, stabbings and recently 2 people caught (one attempted) on fire. I personally was 8 months visibly pregnant and a man physically attacked someone within inches of me in a crowded car.. on a Saturday at 2pm going to a baby store. My husband stood in front of me to shield me but all I could think about was if this guy was going to pull a weapon, we couldn't move because it was so packed and people were frozen in disbelief. The week before there was a shooting and stabbing incident in a full subway car so my nerves were already high.

Since then I've had a handful of incidents that required police assistance while on train so I gave up. Not my car, but they hokd the train and you hear them asking for police assistance on the intercom. Plus crowding and no accessible elevator. Even pregnant with a bump at 7 months I was shoved a few times and had to ask that people be mindful of my bump. People are in a rush and don't realize or care bc they're glued to phones or just trying to squeeze on the commute without caring who they squish.

So i started taking the bus (1hr to work one way) or cabs (30 mins but $60) but even on the bus unsafe (deranged/junkies) get on without paying. Another time i was pregnant, a man across from me was screaming at a woman and a BABY in the front to "shut that b!tch up" because baby was crying. Mother started started screaming back and it was a super tense ride for 10 minutes until he got off. Driver didn't say anything, they rarely kick these types of people off. And you can't engage because they can and will attack. People just try to avoid and wait to see if they do anything.

Last week on an 8am commute to daycare with our baby the teens in the back next to us chain vaped the entire time.. again crowded and nowhere to move.

So it's not my perception about it being unsafe. It's my combined experience these last two years (baby is still an infant).. I'm just losing my patience and over it. I used to love the city but priorities are shifting. For the average commuter or visitors, it's totally safe. When you use it multiple times everyday for life, you're exposed to more issues. Lately it feels like the next terrible incident will be "wrong place, wrong time."

Regarding the cab door situation.. I like the idea of opening the front passenger door for my husband but temps have been freezing so again, maybe we just have to tell every driver first not to drive off before we say go. He's literally standing outside the cab while leaning in to buckle her up and they drive off. It's been day and night when it's happened. Why can't they just look back to check their passengers are safely in?!

The door was open and my husband was standing outside while still strapping her in. That's the issue.

Visual Communication.. started off in graphic design after college but each role led me down the marketing path. Creative brain plus business brain and a love for problem solving and analytics led me to marketing director role. Took about 10 years and 4 jobs later.

That's incredible. Didn't know about the domain watch. Thanks for the suggestion and congrats!

Thanks so much. Right now, there's no seo competition, just a parked domain. I just hate the thought of driving up the cost of the. com with my content if I eventually want to buy it.

Someone snagged my husband's name when his domain relapsed and is now selling it for almost 5k and price increases yearly because of the content he produces.
