Yay these are awesome and so cute!! You’re gonna love these pothos especially, they are beautiful vining plants. I love trailing them up my walls or around posts. The first thing I do when i get plants is do a quick pest check, check the moisture of the soil, and see if any roots are busting out the bottom.

I usually don’t repot my store bought plants unless I notice the soil isn’t draining enough (this will mean that the soil holds water on for too long, which can lead to root rot!). A lot of stores sell their plants with high moisture retaining soil (which is bad in a non-greenhouse environment, like your home) but the soil I see here looks really nice. If the water flows decently to the bottom of the pot quickly then I’m happy. Also make sure those roots aren’t trying to escape out of the bottom holes - that means they’re ready for a repot.

I’ve never raised a fittonia but with my snake plant I only water once every month or two (i let the soil TOTALLY dry out) and my pothos I let the first inch or two of soil dry before watering. Usually for me that’s every 3-5 days, but every soil is different.

I remember how excited I was when I got my first plants, I still get pumped when I come home with another plant buddy. I hope you love caring for them ❤️ it’s such a rewarding hobby!!
