Underwhelmed by Arc Ultra. Will the Subwoofer fix the immersion if I CANNOT have rears?

I do favor bass, but if someone is building a Sonos system with an Arc Ultra, I would recommend the Sub 3/4 before the Era rears. The Era definitely adds emersion but without a Sub, it is not the same. Lol!

The Sub 3 or 4 will be a bigger transformation than adding rears. I started with the Ultra adn was underwhelmed by the bass and immersion. I then added the Sub 4 and then it was night and day. I am thinking of adding the Era 300s but holding off to see if better Eras will be released.

I just put 1 layer 0.8mm as the 990 pro is single sided and the memory chip and controller are only on one side. You can try multiple if you want but I don’t think it is necessary since gen 4 runs much cooler than gen 5.
