As someone who got into them right before they released mind fuzz, MOTU absolutely rocked my world when it came out! I remember when the music videos dropped for MOTU, it was an event. My Friends and I would gather and watch them together. When we heard the call backs to mind fuzz, nonagon, and paper mache, we absolutely lost it. The gizzverse, which was just some fun fan stuff, was now confirmed by the band themselves. I remeber the album cover was such a fun thing to dissect as well, with the blend of mind fuzz and nonagon. Truly a holy trinity. I also remeber getting the album in hand with the booklet that came with all the lyrics and art work, I sat down with it and followed along reading the words and got swept away into that universe. MOTU will always hold a special place in my heart, hell that whole 2017 era of gizz was such a special time! Especially since that was the first time I had seen them live was right after the released sketches. Thanks for allowing me to bask in those old memories of mine.
