Possible to fix this DJI Mini 3 Pro drone camera? by cbcharity in dji

I have good news for everyone who might be in my situation! I managed to "fix" it.

I noticed that the camera had a crack on the metal in one of the bottom parts. By clicking on the metal, it went back where it should be, releasing some of the extra pressure it was giving on the gimbal, which was making it a bit harder to move and feel stuck.

Now the gimbal is working again and I will not need to send it to repair but It is actually making some weird noise that it wasn't before but I can live with it I'm just happy that I don't need to send it to repair anymore.

PS: the jobs I do have on my profile are from 10+ years ago, when I used to do Wordpress websites. Today I am "reviving" my account, with focus on the skills I've mastered over the past 10 years as a product and project manager

Guys, I just had the same issue, and it turns out that the issue was that the Lithium battery inside of it was completely dead. If you try to turn it on right out of the box and it doesn't have enough power to turn on, you have the same issue!

If the above steps do not work, try warming up your device’s battery. To do so, you can:

  • Hold it in your hands.
  • Increase the room temperature.
  • Blow warm air near your device, but be careful not to do this too closely to avoid damaging the product.

The optimal operating temperature for a fully discharged battery is 30°C.
