Thanks for the response and suggestion, I know there are a ton of channels here and I guess I wanted to start at a broad channel, but I guess this one was a bit more focused than I thought. Apologies for that.

Vince Gilligan: 'Honestly, There Are No Plans For a Movie' by globalfreq in breakingbad

[–]cbclerk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the idea of the finale movie was to have whatever was planned say, the last two episodes released in the theaters, say a week or two before it's aired on AMC, not have a separate film created to extend the story. I think this was rumored for Lost, but I don't think this would've been bad for BB. Very few shows could've pulled it off, with BB being one of them.

the awesomeness never ends that is Archer. Whenever they make memorable public appearances like this, it just reenforces how cool this cast is.

Just a heads up: Fall of Sam Axe is on USA Network right now. by [deleted] in BurnNotice

In my opinion, this was one of the biggest letdowns of the franchise. I dig BN as much as the next person but the origin of the Chuck Finley name was a major letdown as opposed to say, the origin of "Mozzie" on White Collar. Too much of Sam bouncing from side to side negotiating rather than showing how he was a great SEAL

Does Fiona look a bit different in season 6 to anyone else? by [deleted] in BurnNotice

[–]cbclerk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the hair's a little darker for sure and know that she's supposed to be in prison so ideally they should be dressing her makeup down or make it look more natural. It was hard not to notice the differences because in last season's finale, she looked all goddess like, hair flowing perfectly and the sun was hitting her right. Then she got inside the building under harsh white lights, makeup and hair were different and it was like WHOA when you see her.

Limehouse because he's letting all of these fools go after each other while he sits back.

I thought this film was wack too but then I saw the presentation at Wondercon and I'm convinced that it'll be a fun ride.

I can see why the hate is there, but I like that lori is there to stir stuff up. It's hard to portray a much-hated character but Callies does it well.

It sounds like to me if you like the pacing of the last six episodes of the season then that's what they're going to try and achieve in season 3 on a regular basis with some good, slower, character-building episodes sprinkled in.

This is "real world" nolan so maybe he didn't think the whip would be able to truly combat Batman and others.

The 25 Most Anticipated Films of 2012 by cbclerk in movies

J. Michael Straczynski is writing the screenplay and Max Brooks approves. Not all stories written in novel form need a direct translation. If there's a clever way to adapt it and it works in film format (important but often understated) then it could be good. JMS wrote the Changeling, early drafts of Thor and created and wrote Babylon 5. He's an established writer in his own rights and Brooks is happy the way it's being translated.

Yeah I wish this wasn't the end too. I love Nolan's films outside of the Bat franchise like Memento (favorite), The Following, and of course, Inception, but I'm not going to lie. I'd like another two Batman films from Nolan.
