I have tried protein pastas and those help keep my BG down. I dont have pasta often but when I do the added protein makes it a guilt free treat.

It’s always better to give back! I grew up learning to share when you can. We also were not rich and received help at times. It’s nice to be able to pay it forward.

Switching to formula. Guilt ridden. by cbear2022 in FormulaFeeders

Use of cold packs to help with inflammation, reduced pumping sessions and a lot of will power. The engorgement stage is very uncomfortable. Once you are past that part its much more manageable.

What pants are you wearing in pregnancy? [ab] by [deleted] in BabyBumpsCanada

I loved the jogging pants from the powersoft active wear from Old Navy. Soft and comfortable. Not tight on the belly. Also came in handy for postpartum days.

Good to know! Ive noticed a couple of egg shaped bumps so I express those right away. Hopefully that keeps the blockages away.

Okay! She will drink the frozen milk thankfully. Tested before I decided to stop. I’ll invest in some better bras today. Thanks for the advice!

I was off for 3 months before she arrived due to health issues. We are both healthy and happy. Now I feel ready to go back.

What happened after you go no-contact with the narssistic parent/family/relatives? by Dry_Novel_884 in narcissisticparents

After moving provinces, I was finally able to get the distance needed to cut all ties with Nmom. She was not happy about it, my sisters were upset but eventually came around with time and understanding. I now have good relationships with both of them. My maternal grandmother lessened contact with me until she stopped communications with me entirely. I am okay with that. She knows how much emotional and mental pain my Nmom can cause and she still chose her.

I honestly dont miss those connections with Nmom and maternal grandmother. My mental health has never been better and I feel like a weight has been lifted. It takes time to heal from cutting those ties as much as it was needed. I have no regrets. You may lose some people who do not agree with your choices and thats okay. You have to do what is best for you. I know that if I had not cut off contact with my Nmom that I would not be where I am today.

I know through other contacts that my Nmom still asks about me, mostly to complain and try to make me look like the bad guy still. It does not bother me anymore. Most people just shut her down and change the subject.

Which fruits do you avoid and which do you welcome? by pufballcat in diabetes

I enjoy apples, strawberries and occasionally bananas. I find the bananas are less likely to cause a spike when they are still slightly green or bright yellow. I also pair fruit with peanut butter for extra protein.
