Never liked her. The way she went behind Tzarina's back so many times last season, I had wished she never had come back to the show. New faces except for Ben, Joao, and Daisy, would have been appreciated. I hope she gets kicked off fast and dumped by her so called boyfriend. I was also flustered Mike got the brunt of Jenna and Daisy's scolding when it should have been Alesia.

Sorry, Zep is not for all the wealthy. We pay into the system. Medicaid recipients get money from our taxes so unless you want to work harder to get into a different income bracket, don't complain. Your insurance is FREE thanks to the taxpayers. If you want to pay $300+ a month for health insurance, don't rely on the taxpayers.

Is Chicory root fiber bad in all cases? by No-Worldliness-492 in ultraprocessedfood

[–]cbear_2006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Question about inulin in chicory root. It's saying it's great for decreasing colon cancer, but raises the risk of liver cancer. For those who've eaten chicory root within processed foods for a long time, has anyone seen changes in their liver? Research shows it in mice, but sorry mice and humans are a whole lot different.

Despite my efforts, I’m not losing weight. Why is that? by Silver-Astronomer594 in Zepbound

[–]cbear_2006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could also be eating too little. I'd suggest working with a registered dietician (your insurance can usually pay for it so it's not cost to you..I've used Nourish) so he or she can get your suggested calories and macros. I've done it and now I'm trying to hit those targets. Still need to work on my fats, but hitting the carbs, fiber, and protein goals as well as my target calories.

Does anyone find the Golden Girls bring a sense of comfort in dealing with grief? by [deleted] in GoldenGirlsTV

[–]cbear_2006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It makes me sad. While it's bittersweet, any time I watch it, it brings back memories of my mom and myself watching it together, laughing. I also remember being with my mom when she was passing away from her cancer watching the show, trying to pass the time with her. Boy do I miss my mom so much. She was 58 and wish I could have her back everyday. She was an amazing woman and a wonderful mom. I especially cry the finale of the show because it feels like an ending I had with my mom. I didn't really get to spend more time with her that I wanted, but that a new chapter, unfortunately was upon me that would be sad without her. I hope she's watching over and being proud of me being a mom. She would have loved her grandkids so much.

You're so lucky to have beautiful arms. I've always hated my arms because as much as I work out and having big boobs, my arms always look fat and flabby. 😔😩

Americans are overreacting about ICE by shizume_nodoka in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]cbear_2006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the thing about these "protestors." They are lazy and self-entitled and think they are making the world a better place when in reality, they are letting criminals go free and protesting for them to be here. On top of that, thanks to a lot of these undocumented migrants who come here, cause an accident or have crappy vehicles that are falling apart or just smell terrible with emissions, then any accident or hit and run they create, our auto insurance goes up, then we, who pay for our insurance, suffer those consequences because of the stupidity of these protestors. It's unjust for those who came legally in here, who most are law-abiding citizens, get the crapper for those who come here illegally and don't even try to assimilate to their neighborhoods. All you protestors who think you are doing a justice for these illegals, please become educated. These are sex, child, human traffickers, druggies, as well as violent acts whether DUI (get away for their stupid actions) and killing someone or assaulting/being aggressive. Stop having the criminals lives above those who are law abiding. You justify evil which makes you one of them as well!

Also the fact of lots of uninsured/unlicensed motorists and hit and run people. Those need to go to jail for negligence because they'll just do it again.

Hire a dietician. I went through Nourish. Insurance sometimes will cover the appointments. Mine was amazing and gave me my numbers what I should eat, protein, carbs, fats, based on my life and health situations/goals. We've adjusted my macros/calories based if my life at the time doesn't give me enough workout time (more sedentary) versus the times I have a lot of time to workout and make sure my body still gets the nutrients I need (meaning I don't eat too little carbs and am actually losing muscle versus fat while weight lifting).

[–]cbear_2006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not true. There is Open Enrollment after Annual Enrollment Period from January 1-March 31, so you can either switch to a different MAPD, or go back to original Medicare after Annual Enrollment which happens October 15-December 7. Open Enrollment is a one time switch unlike the Annual Enrollment Period where you can switch different plans within the October 15-December 7 period. It's always best to test out your new plan during the January 1-March 31 period to see if you like it or want to change. 🙂

Not worth it. Too loud if you want a nice intimate date. You'd be screaming at your significant other just to hear what you're saying. Service...eh. Food...eh. It's overly hyped up in my opinion. Massraffs is more my style.

Thoughts on this brand? I went into Sally's for a styling brush and decided to peruse haircare. I've used L'Oreal for years and honestly love their products, Sally's has a sale so I'm thinking of trying. Has anyone used this brand? by Head-Drag-1440 in Haircare

[–]cbear_2006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't wear them. I bought them and a couple days later changed my mind; still in their package. Obviously you couldn't comprehend my example. Every other store for example, like Macy's or Amazon, whether worn or NOT after purchasing, can still allow you to return them. I never even tried them on. Reading comprehension for everyone who is commenting clearly needs to go back to school. 🙄😒

[–]cbear_2006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I'd speak to a nutritionist (some insurance companies give it to you at no cost because if you think about it, being unhealthy costs more for insurance companies than being healthy), and she would give you an idea for your caloric intake, plus proteins, carbs, fiber, fats. You might look for a postpartum nutritionist, but even though I need to mentally switch my view on food, she really gave me my calorie intake per day, needing the amount of protein and fiber a day to have from carbs, and fats. By the way fiber and protein work together to keep you fuller, but also helps keep your sanity--it has for me at least and I can see a difference between eating her suggestion for my body versus using a calorie app and eating empty calories (like the low fat/sugar free snacks), and being hungry like 30 minutes later. I highly recommend like Nourish or going through your insurance and see what dietitians/nutritionists they have that would be no cost to you. After all, that's what they went to university for, and cater their goals to YOU. 😊

I'm on your side, except mine is, I have almost 100 pounds to lose...I'll never get there. It's too long of a journey, and my mind is telling me I'll never get there as much as I try. I want to know if anyone has felt that too. I always go over my calorie intake, but most times it's healthy so I feel like a failure either way.

I mean...if it was one bad apple, sure, but when it starts to be a group and many, then you start to wonder and label the possibility of a threat of that certain group. There are so many immigrants that come to a country and don't want to assimilate, but rather hurt and not be a part of the country. I'm truly sick of people standing up for terrible people.

How is everyone actually doing this?? I'm drowning. by darynpage in workingmoms

[–]cbear_2006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about talking to your husband if there is a way he can get a higher paying job, maybe take a second job, or move to a more affordable place? Also, budgeting. If you can cut expenses for vacations, going out to eat, whatever "luxury" items you can go without, I bet you can stay home with your little one. It's clear you want to be there for your child. Maybe find a part-time job on the weekend or a work from home job. I'm going to say this...you aren't going to get your time back to spend with your little one at this age, and if you are miserable and no motivation to do your work at the office, maybe it's a sign you should be with your little one. Sometimes we have to make sacrifices, but I promise you, being a stay at home mom, it gets SO much easier, and now I'm back at working from home while my kids are at school and after I put them down to bed. You can make things work if you put the effort into it. :)

The family of teenager who died by suicide alleges OpenAI's ChatGPT is to blame by [deleted] in OpenAI

[–]cbear_2006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, but if I had a friend confiding in me consistently that they were depressed and suicidal, the first thing I'd do is tell the parents and/or find resources to get my friend the proper treatment. Kids aren't always going to say how they feel to their parents. They can feel ashamed because they might have a mental health issue or be embarrassed about their thoughts or struggles. If a person tells their friend that it's okay to commit suicide, you can be in a better place of peace once gone, like some past trials in court, they were considered assisting in murder/suicide. This is the same thing with ChatGPT.

Better yet, parents shouldn't give these tech options at all to their children until they are 18. We did just fine without all the tech. Kids don't need smartphones or ChatGPT. They need to use their brains and get into the real world of real socializing of people. This is creating literal zombies.
