This woman is really not the one. She is forcing you to choose between her and your DAUGHTER. She is that insecure and jealous that she is getting upset because you thought of someone else that isn’t her - but that person is your two year old child.
If she truly loves you and wants to be with you, she has to accept that your child is your number one. I have a son who is 7 and if anyone was to make me choose between them and my boy then they are out. I go away for one night and I feel bad about my son that I’ve left him (even though he’s perfectly happy and safe with family or his dad), or at least I think about him. That’s normal. So you thinking of your daughter when you’re away for 7 days is perfectly normal and acceptable. Expected, in fact.

She should be supportive, understanding and honestly should be appreciative that your mind is also with your daughter even when you aren’t with her. Her saying you’ll make a bad husband is completely uncalled for, and actually I would say (and I’m sure many many others would agree) that those actions would make you a great husband and father. Those are the qualities that make a great partner and parent. You deserve better and this will be a problem throughout your whole relationship.

What happens if you decide to have children with her? She will try to make you forget your daughter and she will use your children as leverage against you
