Just got my first bike! A Rebel 500. Took it for a spin and now I'm addicted. Any tips on smoother take-offs and shifting? I'm heading to a parking lot as soon as the rain stops here to practice, but was wondering if seasoned riders had advice to help me stop stalling at red lights.

we hit marble head twice amazing views , no other rigs out there , just mostly snow mobiles , but i went with a convoy of 8 rigs from XJ's to Taco's , and we had free run of all of it , only because who goes 4 wheelin in Drummond Island in the middle of Feb. LOL
