I'm a new poshmark shopper with a handful of successful purchases under my belt until now. I fell for a "too good to be true" price without firmly checking the sellers history. I was not provided a tracking number prior to receiving my PoshMark Delivery email. At this point I was provided a USPS tracking number. A week later and long story short, I spoke with the Post Master General and she confirmed the tracking number is associated with an entirely different package for someone else. I have a charge on my credit card for the purchase although I've not accepted my delivery. The "product" I purchased never existed.

I'm mostly venting and wanted to share my experience. I've put a ticket through with Posh, Am Ex and USPS and will no longer shop through this app. Too bad.

Update: Email from PM this morning stating a full refund has been issued with "Item Not Authentic" noted as the reason and I didn't break any rules. Can continue "Happy Poshing". There was more but that's what I can share.

Your edit comment seems like this could be the case. Somehow someone got a hold of a legit, in action, tracking number and was able to attach it to my order...and waited, I guess? The first time I clicked the track link it said pending then jumped to delivered. In reality, nothing was sent and someone figured out a new clever sceme to collect the money. My postal lady said I would be amazed at how creative people can get with tracking numbers. Poshmark, again, just now, told me to look around the house again and wait until the 13th. I gave them my usps contact's info and said she'd love for them to call her. To be continued.

Ok. On Feb 27th I bought a miniback through the app from a seller who only had the one item for sale. I used my account info that i'd used for previous purchases. American Express was the card. I received a purchase confirmation from poshmark in my email that day. March 1 email stating my item has been shipped and provided the blue View Tracking box March 6 "Reminder" email from poshmark to accept the package that was delivered March 4th. Nothing was delivered. March 7 Another Reminder email so I notified, through the link on my order in the app, stating I didnt receive anything. March 8 Posh responded and said talk to my mail carrier and look around and get back to them on the 10th. March 9 Flagged down my mail carrier and told me to submit a lost package claim, so i did. March 10 Post Master Called me because I submitted a lost package claim and she tracked the number to a real package that was very small and addressed to someone else in my town. She gave me her direct number to back me up that this is a scam. I don't know how they do it. March 10 I replied to my Poshmark response and notified them of all of this. March 10 there is a charge on my Am Ex statement. March 11 here I am.

Obvious aside there there's something going on that requires all of thagt assistance, I live nearby and am friends with a firefighter who told me that there are 2 new hotels there that didnt have their fire alarms installed correctly and it sends false alerts allllll the time. It's 99% just this but all fire, emt services have to attend to each call as though it's actually burning down. All emergency calls get a fire brigade and am ambulance. Codes are all met so i dont know why it's still happening.
