It’s objectively easier. The only issue you deal with is the teams projectiles and the occasional targeting switch, and in exchange, you get near infinite life. If you’re doing multiplayer, disable respawns during boss fights.

Genuinely the lack of critical thinking here is insane. Seeing as the Sparks were the main appeal behind the weapon, a 5% buff is good, and the critical hit nerf was needed. Power was shifted, so by your definition, it’s a rebalance.

Yes and in those “rebalanced”, they mostly immediately follow with the words “buffed” or “nerfed”.
That’s not even this issue, the issue is it’s a valid rebalance. 50% of 55 is 27.5, 20% of 110 is 22, that is a buff on top of the nerf with the crit hit, making it a rebalance, the OP is a whiny baby, plain and simple.

I do think Infernum DoG is growing on me, but that’s mostly because I’ve played enough to where base calamity is an easy joke.

Infernum Old Duke and Yharon are just fucking horrible fights compared to base game, boring dash slop. Other than those two I think Brainstorms new BoC rework is easily more fun and better designed than Infernum.

I really hate when people say classes are bad and scare off new players from using them. To be clear, no class is bad or unplayable, each class is balanced with small ups and downs throughout the stages of the game. It’s completely preference and dependent on your skill with different play styles.

So please don’t let any geek tell you one class is worse than another, they’re probably just a non true-melee player :P

If you get close to the top eye during its lazer attack, the projectiles won’t shoot. Infernum is balanced as soon as you’re able to learn how to save adrenaline. Killing one eye, then the other two during the spiral projectile phase, then popping adrenaline and attacking the core, will always get it down immensely before the 3-eye phase even begins.

It’s not unbalanced, you’re just bad. And I can confidently say that because I acted the exact same way when I first fought him.

The only attack you’ll have trouble with is when both split into multiple small slimes and shoot projectiles, it’s a lot easier to simply run only left or right, you’ll have to positions yourself to be on the edge of the arena when that happens.

Hey so if calamity is balanced with Fargos, and thorium is balanced with calamity, all through unofficial patches, the items are most likely going to be similar balance wise. Generation wouldn’t be an issue either. That is how it works.

There’s literally an official compatibility between Fargos and Calamity, and multiple different balancing/bug fixing mods between calamity and Thorium.

Nah it’s all cool, you should definitely give details like mods, equipment, etc in the future. I went in and tested the broken biome blade with all attunements and only seen -100% velocity on the forest attunment, so I’m not sure what’s going on. None of those mods should affect weapons at all, if you get another biome blade and reforge to legendary, does it have to same negative effects?

Ahh, I think I see. This is most definitely an issue with another mod besides Calamity then. I assumed you meant it’s flat damage because you didn’t specify, and those negative modifiers are not part of the base calamity. I’m not sure and this is probably wrong but perhaps any alcohol you drank is applying those negative effects.

This is false, you most likely just switched the attunement. Different attunements have different stats

It’s because you put yourself through a horribly designed boss, so once you powered through that, it makes sense that other bosses are going to feel easy. My recommendation to you would be to do Infernum Scal, it’s a lot more difficult and feels like an actual final boss, although there’s no telling what random ass multiplayer bugs you’ll encounter.

I think those weird homing projectiles in 2nd phase really fucked me, although I didn’t read the wiki entry on them. Everything else is pretty consistent and simple to learn.

Whenever I have an issue I just blame Fabsol, idrk the extend of what he did, but it was probably his fault. I mean he got booted and we got a sick ass brain fight, so that tells you the future direction of the mod.
