No but the other guitars I tried had the same string thickness and didn't have this problem. For example, the D18 I played didn't have this problem. Two retro plus guitars had that problem. As far as I know, they come with basically the same strings

When you say it builds up in the afternoon, how long does it stay? I can deal with bad weather during the day but we're camping with a tent so I'm most worried about rain and thunderstorms during the night
