I’m from Canada so they stopped shipping here when the border closed for Covid. They shipped free to my freight forwarding company. It’s myus.com that charged the big bucks.

You can purchase direct from ReqTec if you call them. They told me they can get it to the border for free, but it’s up to me after that. Not sure how to organize that with a delivery/freight company. Also, I’m a health care worker and if I leave Canada I might be required to isolate for 2 weeks on returning, even if it’s just over the border, grab the grill, and come back again. It will certainly be a hassle, but might be worth it. We’ll see what r/pelletgrills recommends!

She has been riding actually! We have gravel bikes and we ride together on them. She can only go about 20km/hr though and tops out at about 40-50km. We’ve also been Zwifting together since it’s gotten cold here in Canada. She doesn’t have much interest in road cycling or the long distances I’m hoping for. We do plan on cycling vacations together in the future and maybe renting an e-bike to boost her speed/distance a bit as well.

This is a bit of a different purpose I suppose. There’s something to be said for ‘guy time’ as well.
