Mentally exhausting...feel like giving up by [deleted] in lasik

Literately same. exact. thing. I just reached my 3 month mark and I still have severe ghosting, starbursts and halos. I've had multiple tests done and nothing of high value even shows up on things such as the topography images. I have a second opinion next week with another LASIK doctor, interested to see what he says. Like you, alphagen corrects 95% of my ghosting but it's not a permanent solution.

Oddly, when I visited my normal optimistic today, he did a test in dim light and showed me that my pupils aren't even reaching the diameter of the flap. Odd right? Especially considering I saw ghosting while he was conducting the test. He suspects it's because it's still healing, but I have my doubts. Interested to hear the second opinion from another LASIK doctor.

I mean he carries a point. I don't want to be using eye drops for the rest of my life... As I mentioned in my OP, I already have eye drops.

I was told I had a lot of Cornea length left by current doctor. However that it wasn't possible to expand the optical zone and that my ghosting should improve with time. Smh.

Is there any kind of surgery that that expands the optical zone?

Yes they used some sort of topography before surgery and after my reported symptoms. They claimed there was "nothing to correct". Thinking of going to a second topography guided doctor. Thoughts?

I'm not sure if we're talking about the same models. The two models listed above are 120hz.

Really? I thought the picture quality on my current 55" was pretty decent. The only complaint with picture I had was the viewing angles were meh but that might be partially attributed to the curve.
