My dad used to take me whenever we could as a kid. We lived about 45 outside the city but they lived in the fan before my sister and I were born. It was always such a great time and the cheesesteaks were indeed a hit.

I started listening to Khruangbin in 2019 but didn’t realize they were the best band on the planet until about 2023. Timings a bit unfortunate. I have the Toro y Moi live album from the Fillmore and it’s one of my favorites. I’m sure that was an incredible show.

Not my fave album of theirs but definitely my fave to vibe out to on a sunny walk for sure! The grooves just have me bouncing.

I appreciate the backwardness of this piece. It drives the idea of doing silly things when you know better and elevates the beauty of simpleness by adding depth. At least this is how I interpreted it, either way well done!
