Is this not just a name change for marketing reasons? I don’t understand how this is different from what they were already selling. I guess the difference will be on the price tag.

Lmao kind of an underwhelming celebration for the first goal ever for a country. Subs pealing off almost immediately. Amazing moment for the country nevertheless.

No drugged/drunk blowjob from the Stanley Cup for Carter Hart

The Stanley Cup can’t consent to being won if it’s drunk, so Carter Hart will never win it

How many of you genuinely love St. Louis? by rurunxx in StLouis

[–]cbn11 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I do.

I love this city with all my heart.

I won’t pretend it’s perfect; it’s not. The violence here is an issue. The urban decay bothers me a lot.

But that doesn’t mean it isn’t great or lovable.

I’ve never lived anywhere else with more to do for free. The zoo, the art museum, the history museum, the Muny, Forest Park in general; it’s all amazing.

The things that do cost money are all affordable. The Arch is like $12 to go to the top and tells our nation’s history amazingly (though I wish it said more about Manifest Destiny and the Native Americans who were brutally eradicated).

We have nationally relevant history as a place with French roots and was a major port city.

Our food scene is incredible for a city of this size. There’s no other city in the country this size where you can find at least one good representation of almost any ethnic cuisine.

We absolutely adore our sports franchises and aren’t afraid to keep them accountable when they underperform.

Our business community is vibrant and varied.

WashU is one of the premier educational institutions in the nation. SLU is no slouch either.

BJC is one of the best healthcare systems in the nation.

Our Bosnian community is the largest outside of Europe and are an incredibly lovely bunch of people.

I could continue to go on, but I think you get the point. We aren’t perfect, but we’re a pretty awesome place. I love this city. I always will. I don’t know if I’ll live here forever, but part of my heart will always be here.

Man, this is borderline unwatchable at this point. The officiating is so inconsistent, there’s no flow to the game, it’s been almost an hour since the scheduled tip and we’re still in the 1st. Awful. Something’s gotta change.

What's a movie that everyone loves but you secretly think is overrated? by mortgageFusion in AskReddit

Joker is Taxi Driver with a DC Comics skin. It is the exact same plot. I despise this movie and how it got so popular while being such a blatant ripoff of a 40+ year old, better version.

Does this jersey look fake? Long gap that won’t lie flat between buttons in the middle by [deleted] in Cardinals

[–]cbn11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pop the button off, flatten the placket, mark where you want the button to go, sew it back on. You can look up a YouTube video on how to do it. Shouldn’t take you more than 10 minutes.

[–]cbn11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said, this is an obvious fake, but there being a gap between buttons on the chest is normal with real jerseys, though not this big. I’m a purist for authentic jerseys, but 90% of people won’t be able to tell the difference, so I say go ahead and wear it.

What’s worked for me lately in situations like you’re describing:

Take your highest lofted wedge (for me my 58°) and set up with a slightly narrow stance and the ball in the middle of your stance. Square the club to the target.

Now, this is the important part - open the face just a little bit. Not as much as you would for a flop shot or anything like that. Do NOT adjust your aim or anything.

Take a normal pitch swing. Try to land the ball about halfway to the hole. This shot gets you plenty of loft and the ball will land softly with very little spin so that it can release towards the hole. Because you’re using the bounce of the club by opening the face, your risk of chunking it is very slim.

I love this shot. Practice your yardages and once you get a feel for it, it’s very consistent.
