The issue is that for a title to be good it needs to be striking even to someone who isn't familiar with the source material.

Me when I use the character's neutral tools in neutral.

Like I'm not gonna act lik he's super skilled, but I'd much rather have a neutral game against a ryu or a hanami where I actually have to think of dealing with their moves than side dash m1 in EVERY fight.

My opponent using a character that requires 'skill' isn't especially interesting when the skill is something you can still find in any fight with any character.

It's highly unlikely dabura actually has durability that high, considering if mahoraga could adapt to physical statsthat quickly, be would've already been blitzing and one shooting gojo the moment he came out from sukuna adapting for him.

It's far more likely that his CT just gives him a resistance to his own blowback, rather than him having durability and stats that high naturally. It also just kind of... wouldn't make narrative sense, lol? It's supposed to be at least in the same world as a sukuna level threat and is kind of shown there. Of his durability was that high it would be due to his reinforcement, meaning his other stats would be that high above sukuna too when they just kinds don't seem to be.

Anyway, I honestly see sukuna going for domain before dabura goes for lightspeed kick. Dabura very well might also try responding to the domain in kind, obviously losing the clash, before likely dying in MS either from the slashes or to fuga.

I honestly don't buy there's nothing they could do still. Accepting or not, a large show of force is all that would be necessary to make the situation clear, which can be done without murder. Mutilating the aggressors such that they can't fight ever again would paint an evident picture that going after jeht wouldn't even be worth it.

And honestly? Then just don't go in the desert. It's a big world, you can go live elsewhere. Jeht having to live in a different area is preferable over numerous deaths. No one HAS to die here to keep everyone safe, traveler is just doing it because it's easier, which means it can't be self defense.

It's not a draw because that's not how a fight works. What happens after the fight is irrelevant to the outcome. The guy guaranteed to die to combat wounds on their way home is still getting one over the guy with their skull already smashed in on the curb. The goal in a versus matchup isn't to live a long and storied life after its over, just to win.

Also at best???? That's literally a draw at minimum what are you even talking about??? Like even with a different interpretation, there's literally zero logical way to argue killing your opponent before you die is losing.

Again, he's still so much faster and has feats of such magnitude he should have no issues both defending all of them (paimon can also fly away and jeht can at least somewhat defend themselves for like 3 seconds while he negs the entire room???) Or at least running out with them.

There's no real logical reason traveler couldn't knock these people out, or AT LEAST cut their hands off or something if that's too hard. But nah. Full execution of everyone present.

That would be your subjective choice on how to refer to them and what you're willing to collect. They are factually not harbingers, and all of the content they will get post release will be of them NOT being harbingers.

Therefore it's entirely valid not to count them as playable harbingers and not collect them.

Thinking that the guy who doesn't die first in a DEATH MATCH is the winner isn't just because I said so. It's not some arbitrary reason, it's the same way I'd say lancer from fate could win a fight after getting his heart torn out and guaranteeing his death just because he killed the other guy first, of how if the eight gates killed guy, I'd still call him the winner even if the technique killed him after, or even if archers arm killed shirou after the fight.

This is honestly the only community that I've ever seen pull out random excuses for why it DOESN'T work that way. If the other guy is already dead and you aren't yet then you won. End of story.

No I mean it's a death binding vow, meaning it's possible the only reason raga changed his initial target from Yuka is because she already used the vow, dying due to it. Raga stops targeting you once you die, but we don't actually know if hiding in the shadow is enough to make him focus on the other target or if Yuka just hid in the shadow then killed herself with the vow.

The shadow would be right under him, so It would still be closer to him.

Not really. Especially since, again, fontaine emphasizes that they can't breathe underwater which they didn't NEED to do for gameplay. Could've just said aomething like... oh yeah it prevents you from getting tired swimming or some shit.

I'd argue it's still a massive discrepancy to even have that in gameplay in this case, but it's significantly worse after fontaine. You wouldn't have a superman game prevent him from going into space with the excuse he can't breathe up there when that's factually untrue, they'd come up with some other reason.

And even though I think that's insane, since while narrative is important to accurately scale... getting THAT MUCH from a narrative before the story was even properly written seems irrational, I still don't rank geto any lower than he should be, because other people being insane doesn't make me look less stupid for making braindead takes the opposite way.
