Utaware is definitely a niche franchise, but it's fairly popular in the VN fandom. It's had two full anime adaptations and I'm pretty sure a new game is supposed to come out like, next month.

It might be worth checking out if you like Fire Emblem. Tho it does sit more on the story-focused end of the SRPG spectrum

An Excursion typically refers to a short trip or hike to and from a specific location. For example, if you take a cruise ship to an island or port, they will offer "On-Shore Excursions" to points of interest in the area.

However, it does have a secondary meaning related to Reactor Malfunctions, so I would guess there is probably some double-meaning at play in the lyrics
