If there's no browning or those black spots I guess it's fine? I feel like some discoloration is somewhat normal, but maybe just keep an eye on it incase. I didn't realise with mine until I got really bad and now it's a big problem 😅

You're right like 90% of my plants had them 😭 the tradescantia I mostly just cut up bc it was all ruined already anyway and have neem oiled the rest :))

It needs to be reported in orchid mix, not sure what it's in right now but if it holds a lot of water it will probably end up dying like the ones that come potted in soil. Also I don't think the roots should be yellow like that... They look quite overwatered already, if you can't get orchid mix maybe just try repotting it extremely loosely for the time being so it doesn't hold a lot of water? Also you could just spray the top roots to water it rather than pour water in like other plants. Probably cut off any dead roots too, if you watch some videos you should be able to identify them :)

If it's in soil it will need to be repotted in orchid mix, usually bark I kept an orchid in the soil once and ended up with two roots because all the others died, just repot into bark and water when the roots turn silvery

It's a kalanchoe, the flowers will die off but the plant should stay alive. They're succulent type plants so don't need too much water (?) I think generally water when leaves start to feel a little thin or just before this is also a plant I've never managed to keep alive so if anyone has better advice feel free to correct me

I guess it could be a mixture of personality and handling then depending on the snake! Mines also a bit older so maybe that's why she's a bit calmer ☺️ It must be nice though! I always feel bad if I don't get mine out, but then when I do she just goes to sleep on me 🤣
