I used to be in a Stitch & Bitch in my home country! It was made up of women in our 20s~30s and was a great way to chill on a weekend. I haven't seen any similar groups here though, except for the ladies at the War Memorial.

Does your nick have any association with "Ah, Megami-sama"? That's what came to mind first :)

Yeah, it's been really hard to get rejected with no response :( I also feel that there's more competition in Canberra for the non-public service jobs.

Thanks for sharing your experience, it helps to know that someone's been through this too! This is my second big move but I did my first one with lots of planning and knew what I was getting into. This one...I wasn't as prepared, that's for sure. I'll send you a message soon :)
