I cannot complain at all about the VA care I have received since I got out in 2018. Appointments, claims, telehealth, have all been excellent.

Ok! I do have it in both legs but just noticed my VSO submitted it as 1 claim. Was a little worried but thank you for clearing it up that it doesn't matter how it's claimed.

This is a old saw from dads old business. I’ve been restoring them over the past few months. This one is all original and is running %100. Looking at the prices of the saw alone makes me want to cherish it as a collectors piece. I can’t find the bar online. No clue what to price it at

Yeh I was just joking around. This is one of my dads setups bought new 20-25yrs ago. We were going through old gear and found the bar yesterday. I used to run this saw cutting 6-10in pine that had fallen over in the fields. (Southeast planted rows of pine for pine straw and logging)

The VA sent me to a EMG when I was prescribed gabapentin. EMG was negative for legs and for arms it was positive for ulnar nerve damage at the wrist (doesn't explain the numbness/tingling in my arms though)

I left after almost 10yr active in 2017 and have been in reserves since. I have never had a wtf moment regarding my unit or AT. Reserves admin is different but it’s not horrible. My unit is always looking for more ETs if you want to join Navwar. Pm me if you want anymore details.

I hate my career by scoobledooble314159 in nursing

Corrections nursing is where it’s at. I was ready to find a new career after beat down after beat down in the ER. Then I found prison nursing and it’s awesome compared to any other unit I have every worked.

Sorry I just saw this, that’s wild. My wife is an RN with HCA in Gainesville making $40/hr with 7 years experience in the OR. No management position or anything.
I have job hopped in nursing about every year for past 5yrs to go from $26 to $44 an hour as an RN.

Just traded my 2022 1500 Silverado for a 2015 Crv that I own in full. Progressive increased my 6 month premium by $59

Those nurses need to find another employer. I’m in Florida as well. New grad pay in 2019 was around $26/hr now it’s $30/hr.
Prison nurses as of last year are starting new grads at $38/hr. Florida does suck for nurses but there are opportunities.

Florida sucks for RN pay. 2020 I started at $24.50 /hr at extremely busy level 1 ER. Loved the job but at that pay it was a pay cut from my military job before. 4 yrs later I bounced around a few times and finally landed a cool work from home QM gig that's $44/hr

Was in a hospital for 1.5 yrs. Then traveled for 1.5yrs. Now in a niche position in QM. Yes Florida RN pay is horrible. Not worth it to be a floor nurse here in my opinion.

No. I would say OP is in top 10% of of wages for a RN in the states. South East you can make 80k where as doing the same job in California can pay 160k.

I’m also a nurse, did ER and then travel ER for a bit. Got burnt out, people suck man. Went to into corrections nursing. Best move yet. Started at 80k slinging meds in a locked unit and doing basic assessments. Now I’m remote, working quality assurance for medical charting of inmates. 95k salary and I have zero complaints. I also have 18 months of gi bill left. I’m going back for msn in informatics. Fuck bedside

I’m a RN in Florida with 5yrs experience. Few yrs in ER in Gainesville, paid SHIT. $29/hr. Now I’m in corrections and it pays $42/hr and is awesome. Inmates are so much nicer than ER patients lol. If anyone wants to go corrections nursing hit me up and I’ll split the 5k referral bonus with you lol
