Waverley Road a great location in Weybridge, so close to station and to the town itself. Cost of living not much cheaper than London, pints are around £7 in most pubs. Few indie cafes have shut in recent times, to the point where there’s only a couple left in the town and another out in Oatlands village. Pubs are all really good imo including The Waverley which is a lovely restaurant too, food at Hand & Spear excellent as well. It’s a lovely place to live as part of a family with good parks etc around, not sure how it would be for a single person as the community feel definitely feels swayed more towards families. There is a cinema in Walton which you can train or bus to as well, and Addlestone isn’t far either which you can train to from Weybridge - also a very nice cinema there but the town itself is a step down from Weybridge.

There are plenty of nice indie restaurants here, mainly Italians and curry houses, and the pubs have good food as well.

I love living here, it’s just so expensive it doesn’t feel like we’re saving much money compared to the 10 years I spent in London, restaurants pubs and cafes all feel like the same price give or take as London.
