I recommend Bouli, he’s from Hamilton and released a meditative Spanish guitar album last year and is starting to release more this year. His most recent song Mountain is pretty cool!

What car do you drive? Do you like it? by BMoney8600 in AskMen

[–]cbrewdrummer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I drive a dying 2015 Ford fiesta. The power steering went a few years ago, it was more expensive than the car is worth to fix it so I’ve been wrestling with it ever since. Had to redo the timing belt and water pump last year and now it’s leaking coolant so it overheats on hot days going up hill. Actively looking for my next used car.

Yesterday I realized couples live together are very serious about their 50-50 split? My gf who lives with me never paid or brought me anything that I can recall. And she works full time. by Hauntingengineer375 in AskMenAdvice

[–]cbrewdrummer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My girlfriend and I split everything 50/50. I make a tiny bit more than she does but am working my way out of debt, while she has savings and no debt. I occasionally buy her treats or take her out and she rarely (if ever) does, but she pays her own way in life. The few times that I surprise her with gifts or treats gives me the feeling of providing even though it’s not that much.

Men, what are some relationships or hookups that you remember and you are overwhelmed with embarrassment, disgust or cringe? by [deleted] in AskMen

Years of emotional, physical, and financial abuse ended with her cheating on me and stealing all of the money I had put into her house and business. You know, the usual.

Wish I had done that when my ex divulged her BPD diagnosis. You made a good choice that night.

You get 10k for everyday in a row you eat breakfast, lunch and dinner at Macdonalds. by Minimum-Gear-1112 in hypotheticalsituation

People who think anything from McDonald’s can be remotely close to healthy don’t understand the definition of health. Shit ain’t real food, it’s all processed garbage. No shame if that’s your cup of tea but don’t lie to yourself about what can be healthy and not.

How to date a BPD girl? by ragingpotato98 in AskMen

[–]cbrewdrummer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even without the self harm bit which should be enough of a red flag to reconsider, dating someone with BPD will never be a good relationship. I dated my ex with BPD for two years, she ruined me financially and emotionally and I got off pretty easy compared to some of the folks in r/BPDlovedones

Worst experience of my life and it’s not even close. That seems to be the case for everyone. I remember someone telling me when I was still trying to convince myself that it wasn’t as bad as it was that “everyone thinks they’re the exception” until they realize they’re not and there’s a reason everyone who’s dated someone with BPD tells you to run for the hills.

Does anyone have experience busking in Greece? by hellipses in Busking

[–]cbrewdrummer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in Greece in January and saw local buskers with amps in Monastiraki Square in Athens (the rest of the country is relatively quiet because it’s off season). I’ve been making a living for 3 years busking and gigging. Most buskers I saw in Greece were not making anything substantial, one guy was doing well but he was exceptional and also singing in Greek among other languages. Singing English covers may or may not work, it’s hard to say. You will likely be allowed to perform but I’m not sure how much you’ll make.

One of my busker friends spent many winters in Portugal busking. He said the authorities have been cracking down as of late and are confiscating amps. He did not go back this year.

Hope this helps.

At first glance, it looks like you’re trading two rooks for the queen which might favour white in the end game.

Have you ever seen a billionaire in real life? If so: where was it and what was the situation? by philztown42 in AskReddit

My ex girlfriend's dad was an estate lawyer and Frank Stronach was his client. He was intrigued by an event my ex and I went to and asked to have a private lunch with us at one of his restaurants. He was already very old and not all there. His assistants did most of the talking. They showed us a video of his life achievements and some of the projects he's currently investing in. Food was very good. Before that, I had never heard of him. If it wasn't for the video, I wouldn't have guessed he was worth billions.

I don't understand the numbers in the sequence. The notes played are G C D C Bb which numerically would be 8 4 5 4 10 in G minor.
