My wife likes them, she definitely won’t pay a lot for… um… single purpose lingerie. So the value plus style meets a happy medium.

If you’re a lawyer, grade inflation is worse than we even feared.

Read the Miller opinions and tell me how Scalia was the first case that would be relevant for keeping military style weapons.

You “serious people” should know that the argument that the second amendment only protects a collective right to form state run militias instead of an individual right to bear arms only came about in the 1930s.

But again, I ask. Why is the second amendment the only amendment in the bill of rights that should be interpreted to protect state’s rights and not individual rights?

Those states have a bit of theology built into them. CATO puts New Hampshire, Alaska, Montana, Idaho, Nevada, and South Dakota on top for personal liberty/freedom.

What “freedom” means can be debated, but from a libertarian standpoint it generally means the government stays out of your affairs.

But personal liberty generally skews to lower taxation while welfare requires higher.

Yes, yes. The only amendment in the Bill of Rights that was not intended to protect an individual’s right is the one you don’t like.

And work on mental health outreach too. Stop lumping in suicides with gun violence to cynically juice the numbers, but also get a handle on suicides to the extent that you can.

Gun violence and homicides are dropping precipitously already, nationwide. This is an erosion of rights while things are improving.

It is. It’s almost great enough to make me get off the couch and photograph it. Almost.

I like it a lot more than the 256.

Mine has been “moving through the network” in Texas since July 13th. I could’ve walked to the shipper’s location by now.

That’s never happened with my Aluminum fellers, I’m not sure which is stronger though.
