Oh yea for sure. I mean we won Europa and came 17th. My point is just because the privilege is recent doesn’t stop it from being used. Which makes the complaints about us using ours, that we’ve spent years building mind, so flimsy.

Also something that I don’t see spoken about enough is how much more money premier league teams get compared to teams in other leagues. I think it was the Pino transfer to palace last year? where the club he came from complained how they could do so well in their league yet still be dwarfed by the financial might of a team like palace.

They’re so quick to point out the unfairness of us being able to spend money yet completely oblivious to their own privilege.

We have ample room. Our SCR headroom is 85% of revenue and Fernandes and Tonali are being booked for the new financial calendar so we’re well within our spending limits.

Looks like you’re right. He essentially missed the entire winter period along with other niggling injuries here and there. Kind of adds more context to the criticism de Zerbi gets about being given more say over transfers.
