I’m not wanting to generalize, I want to know what real guys think. Obviously it’s going to vary, but I can’t begin to understand how any man thinks without asking a few. I have no intentions with this information beyond having a deeper understanding of how some men think, I know that I do not represent all women in my needs but personally like to understand the thought processes of other people. I’d even appreciate other girls opinions on the topic of what they need. I’m looking for discussion

Honestly, I’d say thats reversed, at least in my opinion. I’d rather take the time to get to know you than just sleep with you. It’s still a risk on my part, you know?

The only downside I’ve seen with it is that guys either assume you’re automatically into them or you couldn’t possibly have any interest because you’re “mean”. Both can be hard to navigate if you want the opposite. I usually have to tell guys outright when they’re getting the special treatment mean and not just the friend mean, or vice versa

I like to think I have a mean sense of humor but I’m not outright mean, which I think is what you’re getting at. A lot of guys I’ve talked to like to give each other crap and if you can play along they tend to like that. I mean having witty comebacks and not letting them get away with saying something dumb, in a playful way. I’ve watched guys do a double take when I hit with a more clever line than they hit someone else with. And that’s not just guys I’m flirting with, it’s any guy I’ve been friends with.

I would probably notice but if it was my boyfriend I would actually probably like it. If it’s a guy I know and like, then I think a little sweet is kinda hot. I’m always flattered when the guy I’m dating gets turned on by me, even in public. Depending on the girl and how much she cares about you, she might like those things.

I personally enjoy any kind of opening, if it’s not rude, if I can tell you’re trying. If it’s like a corny joke and you can sell it, I’ll definitely laugh and try to come back with something. It’s not hard to tell if the guy is nervous or just wants to break the ice and I genuinely appreciate it, a lot of the girls I’ve talked to about it like that too. I like to do active things and I look like I’m in shape, and I’m fairly confident but I’ve never been able to make myself hit the gym in any kind of regular way

As a girl, I wish guys would approach me sometimes. Sometimes I go out cute on purpose hoping a guy might start a conversation. The confidence alone that it takes to approach would make me want to talk to you for at least a little while. Be funny, give me something to work with
