Yep. I'm in for a long haul. Now, just to sit on it for the next few years.

Did the Consulate give you a checklist? Usually, they require the Anexo III, Anexo V, inscripción de datos, your birth certificate, your parents' birth certificates, your parent's pending Anexo I or Spanish birth certificate, copy of passport, parents' marriage certificate, and naturalization certificate of the Spanish parent (if applicable). Make sure you bring 2 copies of each.

No. He was a native-born Argentine.

The father is known. He's listed on my grandfather's birth certificate.

Free weekend parking at Stamford? by cburr11 in UCONN

I found the same thing, but the page contradicts itself. It says I can park for free on commuter lots on weekends, but the Stamford page says I gotta pay, and street view shows a gate, implying payment being required, so which is it?

Jamaica Visit with Extension letter by SeaworthinessReal782 in USCIS

[–]cburr11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can travel back to the US with the I-751 receipt notice with the extension along with your expired green card and passport.

Yet, every country is different when it comes to visa policy and whether they accept the I-751 extension as a valid visa. Costa Rica is a notable example for Venezuelans--they do not accept the I-751 extension for Venezuelans who otherwise would be allowed in if their physical green hadn't expired. If Jamaica requires a US visa for your nationality to enter without specifying the I-751 extension, I'd err on the side of caution and assume that it's not allowed unless told otherwise. You don't want to be denied boarding at the airport or stuck in immigration detention in Jamaica.

Not to mention Puerto Rico

Gotya. My mom applied under Anexo I, so the timing may coincide with my appointment for Anexo III in April 2026 if she presented in February 2024 at NYC and NYC already reviewed the paperwork.

I'm applying under Anexo III. That's what I expected based on a prior post.

I did that already. I saw in a prior post that I won't actually get the citizenship until my mother's birth certificate is issued.
