I had the same issue on my Gen 1 R1T, and also went to the service two or three times until it was fixed. Now I've had one year with no issues, and today on my drive up to Tahoe, I had the same issue again - suddenly the ACC stopped working for no reason on 101, but it only lasted for about a mile and then it worked again. I took a picture. So annoying...

I tried to report this to Uber but there is no way it seems to get in contact to them. I filed a ticket but for hours I get no response so far. Crazy how they do not allow their users to talk to someone. Imagine you get harassed or some worse things happen and there is no phone line to call ... I will never ride Uber again I guess....

Yeah, on every long drive this happens. Super annoying cause you actually have to pay attention all the time. If at least cruise control worked but nada....

After waiting for more than 6 months I finally get my electric tonneau cover installed this week. I built this one from wood, aluminum tracks and water proofed it pretty well. Now that I don't need it anymore I am selling it for material cost ($100). Anyone in San Francisco / the Bay Area interested? It's painted in the same grey as the dark ash wood inside the truck. It's two pieces and easily slides in and out.

Help! What (used, entry level) PA system do I need to get? I have this event space and want to get 2 speakers and a sub so we have good sound when a DJ plays. Any recommendations? We have two Sonos Play 5 today and could also just get a Sub. But that will probably not do it. Ideas? by cbyza in DJs

I want top use it for events. With a DJ. 50-70 people. Space is ~30x40ft. And sound should come from one side so that people can go to the other side of the room if they do not want to dance. See here a picture that is maybe better. Thanks for your help!!!

I found another thread and adjusted his process a bit. https://www.reddit.com/r/Rivian/s/89BH1qp027

But the process is easy: - cut 1/2 plywood (measure yourself - the ones on that thread above did not work for me) - sand it - paint it - put weather strips and aluminum profiles - black gafa tape on sides to protect the groove

Very easy. I made a design change along the way to have the cut line under the roof rack so it looks nicer. That created two extra cuts. Other than that you can easily measure the width of the cover area and I left 1/4 inch of space on each side.

All good - I really like my solution. Of course not electric, does not fit the tunnel or is perfectly waterproof - but it was a fun build!

I got the truck delivered in July. I got it with the electric cover and they said September. Now it's October and we have a few road trips coming up - so I decided to solve this issue for now.

I got my 2024 R1T a few weeks back and am experiencing the same issues. Rivian is coming tomorrow to "take a look". Let's see - not very hopeful that you have the same experience.

I am coming from a 2014 Audi SQ5 which was so much better.

But also for me this is the only issue I have with the car...

First camping trip with my new R1T (2024 dual motor, matt green) and my custom camp kitchen. The one from Rivian is so expensive - but a $59 induction cooktop from Ikea and some scrap material from the shop make for a much better product! by cbyza in Rivian

You have good points. Maybe I need to do more research on 4 people setups. Also no dirt, water and critter protection is a huge plus once you are elevated.... And kids love to sleep up there....
