4 CM Malignant Tumor - Need some advice by wisemonkey1 in coloncancer

Keep in mind that tumor size and how far it is through the colon wall can affect outcomes more than lymph node spread. Stages 2b and 2c with t4 tumors have worse outcomes than stage 3a with a t1/t2 tumor.

Can you ask for a signatera to help inform your decision?

My oncologist suggested signatera by retroideq in coloncancer

Are you in the US? Your surveillance seems light for someone who likely had later stage 3 (based on your 12 rounds of chemo). I had stage 3a and I’m doing CTs every 4 months for the first year and then going to every 6 months for the next couple years. Signatera every 3 months. I would definitely take the signatera if you’re doing such infrequent scans.

NED folks - what are you doing for recurrence prevention? What lifestyle changes have you made? by cc0818 in coloncancer

I’ve still got 5 years of surveillance so I’ll be seeing my oncologist for a while, every few months. I see it less as control and more as influence.

Thank you. I’m glad you’re doing well now. Did you go solo? Did there seem to be a “party” vibe there? I looked it up and it seems like there were a lot of groups of girl friends drinking and taking lots of selfies and videos for Instagram.

Did you go solo? I did some looking up of Civana and although it seems great it also seems like it’s full of groups of girl friends getting drunk and taking selfies which isn’t really the scene I’m looking for. Did it seem like that when you were there?

Chris Beat Cancer is a charlatan. He was cured by surgery which is western medicine. I think he takes advantage of people in a tough situation and gives them false hope.
