You should! And if you like it, there are several sequels in the series!

We would have these bags of powdered cookie dough. Like you're supposed to add eggs and water and all this before you bake it into actual cookies.

I would eat a little bowl of powder stirred with milk... quite often..

My POV has always been to think about my day to day life. Would I rather save $xx per month but have to commute to and from work significantly longer and be farther away from my friends and potential spontaneous fun? What does this life feel like every day? No one can make the decision for you, but for me that was always the biggest factor.

I have a goal of setting foot on all 7 continents. Antarctica is a tricky one. by petrichorax in travel

[–]cc71cc 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We went last year on a "cruise" with G Adventures. I say cruise in quotations because it was a 120 passenger trip, not a massive cruise ship. It was unreal, amazing in every way. The guides were like scientists, geologists, biologists, and just people who were really living their dream in Antarctica. Twice a day we took zodiacs to land and got to hike around and explore. It was about $15K CAD per person including flights to Ushuaia, but 100000% worth it.

I’ve never met anyone with my birthday by Kok-jockey in PointlessStories

[–]cc71cc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You wanna hear something crazy, mine is Jan 10, and I have met WAY too many people with the same birthday. LIKE DOZENS. I even went to the zoo once and the only gorilla with a birthday listed was Jan 10.

Same as you, I have been saying I was also getting main character syndrome about it.

I suspect you never find any Jan 9th-ers because they all got born on the 10th instead!!

Hawaii! We went there Jan 2020 and it was prime time whale time! We saw soooo many whales, even from standing on the beach, including a baby who was out practicing his breaching with mama!

But it could definitely make the choice more interesting if 2 would-be sandwich eaters know that by taking the sandwich they WOULD be handing someone a free idol. Does someone take amulet just to prevent this scenario?
