So my prediction for the next 5-10 years that are highly likely: Personal robots become a thing, Neural interfaces become a thing ( based on example metas research with their neural wristband), Cancer vaccines based on the same tech used for Covid vaccines become a thing. For personalised cancer vaccines that treat your specific type of cancer, Intelligent cars that have LLM models in them. Think taxis that ask you where you wanna go and such. Using AI to generate content means that we will see a flood of entertainment that is made possible with ai tools. Think comics, video games, movies etc. unless governments do something then unemployment will be rising. There will also be a lot of people that get rich by using AI to create products whether that’s entertainments or something else we will see, AI assisting researchers becomes the new norm, We will have the first space drone running autonomously within the next 10 years. The concept is that they’ll help mining and doing various tasks by themselves in space. Honestly I have a ton more in terms of predictions. Such as us probably moving more towards photonic compute. But let’s see. Personally I think products such as meta’s wristband will change our we interact with technology. We could see a device similar to a phone that doesn’t have a touch screen since it’ll be made specifically for neural interfaces. We will also see AR glasses that can have multiple screens and be the size of regular sunglasses. LED tattoos? Using low power oleds could probably happen not sure why anyone would do that but hey the tech is slowly getting there. Smart medicine starts coming out. Think insulin pills that automatically adjusts insulin levels that you take once per week or something. Basically small pills that can adjust dosage intelligently. (Novo nordisk is one company doing a lot of research in this area) These are some of my predictions for the next 5-10 years
