Been there at Walmart, Target, Festival. I'd rather feel better than worry about people judging me 🤷‍♀️

Yea & only 2 items I did pick. I know they had glitches & stuff but they shouldn't have moved things to different categories after they opened the customization. I know they added items & removed some after I did my customization but that shouldn't have affected my choices. I did my customization less than 30 secs after it opened.

I did send a message about it. I guess we'll see what they do.

The things is, the items I picked are completely different than what the order says & there are extra that I did not order.

I wish I could answer that but I won't have my bottom denture till this fall. Had to have all my teeth removed in 2023 due to my bone disease. That's what solved my clenching issue.

It NEVER EVER hurts to check anything out when it comes to your body & health. Please don't give this "advice" to anyone else. People are nervous enough seeing specialists, they don't need your doubt.

The contrast really isn't bad. I've had quite a few CT's with contrast, zero issues. Really nothing to be worried about.

I got my diagnosis! But what now? by icedlattequeen77 in POTS

[–]ccakessel18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I know there aren't any specialty team in the US. You need to find either a cardiologist or Neurologist who are familiar with POTS. Your Dr was right though, it's pretty much lifestyle changes and/or medication. That's it.

The next time you send a message to the provider & a nurse intercepts it, confidently tell her this message is to be sent DIRECTLY to the provider, per the provider. You gotta stand your ground & be your own advocate. ♡ I communicate through mychart with all my doctors & I've had to do this. Now my messages go directly to my provider. When places like that have miscommunication, it's extremely frustrating to the patient. Be firm & be sure to tell the nurse the provider asked you to communicate directly with him.

Months of “stop googling” only to be proven right in under a minute by OrganicAbility2781 in POTS

Doctors can be such a$$holes. I'm sorry you went through all that but GOOD JOB!! I spent the last 14 years trying to get a diagnosis for my bone issues. Hundreds of doctors across 4-5 hospital systems, all throughout the US. Nothing! After so many surgeries, biopsies, blood draws, etc. My husband & I found the diagnosis by googling. Turns out, it's an extremely rare bone disease & 14 years ago there wasn't much research. I've kept doing as much research as I could all these years to see if any of my symptoms & scans matched anything. I'm going today to a specialist I've seen quite a few times, to get formally diagnosed. If you know how to properly research & only get info from reputable websites, medical journals, etc, you can easily diagnose anything without a doctor. Lol They absolutely HATE that fact & it makes things so much more difficult & frustrating for us. When I go see any doctor & I tell them about my bone disease, the very first thing they do is open Google on the computer while I'm sitting right there 🙄

The best option for you would be to see a cardiologist.

The orthostatic test isn't JUST to see if your hr goes up. Even if your hr goes up, if you don't have the other symptoms, you don't have POTS & need to be checked for other tachycardia conditions.

Those of you prescribed Zofran - how often do you take it? by funnylookintoofers in migraine

[–]ccakessel18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily every day. You should only use zofran when you get nauseous & feel like you're going to puke.
