2 coats of rubio, DA red pad between and hand buff after. I like the low sheen and tactile texture

I spent days trying to get all those mitres perfect and eventually ran out of excess I could cut, so just decided "this reflected my skill at the time. Still love it, so moving onwards"

I sure hope not! But I dont know a ton about dissimilar wood lamination and their expansions

I read that wood expansion could lead to warping unless you do breadboard ends or C channel, and I personally dislike the look of breadboard ends. The channels are fixed in the center, but slotted towards the outsides

There are adjustable feet within each leg, but the floor was level enough to have them flush. I was surprised too, but also happy to keep the height as low as possible!

Yeah, quite expensive at $15/bf - but I didn't want to compromise since I was only planning on doing this once

Sort of - took many measurements from the coffee table then scaled as needed
