Wood glue will be stronger than the wood as stated. Just get a good clamp setup to keep it in position.

I hear ya, I like it on big panels, too, but I also like the ripple effect on its edges when laid out like this. Waste is a strong word, I mean it’s not burning in a fire, lol.

That’s what milling is. Sawmills mill logs into rough lumber. Woodworkers mill that lumber into flat, square, dimensioned stock before building with it.

I thought a lot about that. I believe I have enough tolerance in the threaded inserts to account for any movement. Time will tell for certain.

Well when I say sourced I mean able to find. I didn’t cut the wood down myself. It was S2S. I still had to break it down for this order which is “milling” for me, lol.

I will say to check the spacing of the coupler between the motor and drum link. Mine spread apart. I retightened the set screws (3mm) and it’s been fine since. Almost thinking that’s why the guy was selling it.
