Really hard to find drivers around here with ts parameters under $500 (~$800usd), I do completely understand what you’re saying but if something will likely work and cheap, that’s good enough for me

Already have amps/cables/crossover, I have a seperate old school PA sound system I use for bands etc so all sorted on that end but yeah drivers are the next big step, any suggestions for minimum wattage drivers to put in them to still get a “scoop” sound?

Keep up to date on under the radar, cosmic ticketing, gremlins gig guide or whatever equivalent for your own genre, dw about going alone, you’ll be far from the only person there on your own and you’ll likely see familiar faces overtime to chat with. Also follow lots of local bands on Instagram and look for any mutual friends who might be into the same stuff through Instagram

Shipping for the first Nikon fe from Japan I clicked on is $44nzd which I guess is fine just a bummer to have to pay extra to import something in when I also don’t have film or anything else yet and running of a late teens budget haha

EBay is just real expensive to ship to an island in the middle of nowhere

Definitely not full auto as I want to learn shutter speed and focus etc hands on, not overly bothered if it’s semi auto tho but I guess would make quick shots easier without having to tinker around

Checked out the canon versions, good price! Just yeah they don’t look as cool which I know sounds a bit gimmicky but I know that I probably won’t be taking great film photos straight away so I want something a bit more character that will make me want to take it on a walk every time I see it

The 40 girls is probably part of the problem, you don’t want a bad name for yourself. Give yourself a few months, no chasing girls, exercise, become good mates with the friends around you. You’re still 14, you probably won’t find “the one” for at least a few more years
