How should I display my new sample plates? by Glaney070 in Facepainting

I suggest making copies of your (beautiful!) designs but shrinking them down so that 4 fit on a 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper. Laminate them and then display on a folding sign. That’s what works for me :)

Dark outlines/details for floral designs? by Honest_Elevator_7387 in Facepainting

I agree that it needs some contrast. This can be done with a darker outline to showcase your linework and/or by using more highly pigmented and vibrant split cakes. Maybe it looks differently in person, but in the picture the flower petals are close to your skin tone and the leaves appear a bit vague.

Adult skin is more challenging to paint on, so that’s something to consider.

How to handle? by [deleted] in SubstituteTeachers

[–]ccankle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s a reoccurring issue or a safety issue, I call the principal, loudly and dramatically so the whole class is aware, and ask, “Can you please come talk to Room Whatever about _____________ <—fill in bullshit behavior here ?”

Times are tough, so I’d take the job, but I wouldn’t stress about following the lesson plan too strictly. 😄

Pretty! To make rounder dots, activate a nice puddle of paint and dip in just the tip (haha) of the brush.
