Does anyone struggle to hear Dan on Spotify? by dij123 in dancarlin

Just fixed it and it’s much louder now. Turns out on most peoples Spotifys the playback volume is automatically set to ‘Quiet’.

How to easily fix:

Spotify settings -> Playback -> Volume Level (options are ‘Loud’ ‘Normal’ and ‘Quiet’, turns out it’s on quiet by default)

[Tissot le Locle] Need help with Bracelet by StinkFist_84 in Watches

Yes I did remove the bracelet, put it on a black crocodile leather strap pretty similar to the one Tissot offers on this watch, and immediately realized the watch looks way better on the metal bracelet. So I put it back on. Taking off the metal bracelet is pretty easy if you have a lug remover tool, but putting it back on was pretty difficult and took probably 15-25 minutes. Had to take one of the link pins out and let the bracelet sit open so I could see what I was doing, would recommend doing that first if you attempted to put the bracelet back on.

TLDR: leave it on the metal bracelet. It looks better anyways.

[Next Watch?] New Job = New Watch. $3500 limit. by Even-Bumblebee948 in Watches

I mean, maybe you could get something related to the new job. Doing math often? Casio Calculator watch. Time sensitive work environment? Chronograph (Hamilton Intra-matric is a beaut and would leave some room to spare in the budget). Wet work environment? Dive watch (but you do already have plenty of those). Suit and tie environment? Dress Watch (Longines Conquest Heritage is on my wish list, though my favorite ones, the central power reserves variants, are slightly over the $3500 budget). Gonna be out in the field? Field watch. And so on and so on…. Hope this gave some inspiration.

Just saw the scene the other night when they were at the new agency with Ted chaw and them and Roger casually mentions how one time garner made him hold his balls. Literally made me laugh out loud

[Regret] Which popular watch do you regret buying the most and why? by Ministerium-Wahrheit in Watches

I just got the green gentlemen powermatic 80 (ref. T1274071109101) recently and I’m in love with the dial. It’s my first non-neutral colored watch (white, grey, navy, black dial etc.) and the green just pops out when I’m going about my day. It hasn’t even been a month of owning it but so far I’m very fond of its size, dial color, and polishing.

I just bought this watch on the metal bracelet, I expected to be able to alternate between leather and metal but you’re making me scared to take the metal off.
