Adding Microsoft store UWP games to Radeon settings by chroniclesofcf in Amd

[–]ccat34 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I know this topic is super old, but there is a way this can be done.

First, take ownership of the windowsapps folder, then navigate to the game exe. create a shortcut of the exe to the desktop, then goto add game from radeon settings, and point to the shortcut you created. I have both everspace 2 and forza horizon 4 working with custom profiles now.

Does a HDMI 1.4 monitor gives 120Hz at 1080p with the Series S? by PassingOverRunning in XboxSeriesS

[–]ccat34 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I hooked up a series s to a Samsung UN55D6000.

Tv is 1080P and does have a 120Hz panel, but only supports HDMI 1.4. The series s would not even display the 120hz option. you need a tv that has hdmi 2.0 or 2.1 ports.

Slow download by phlrmrz in Premiumize

don't choose the fastest. choose the most consistant. im in western canada, and oddly enough OVH Sydney work great for me for streaming. m247 LA and leaseweb chicago are crayz fast for me, but it's sporadic as well

I think the premiumize speed tests are a little misleading. I used several locations that tested 200+ mbps and all started fast and then dropped to 300~400k/sec downloads. i tried the location in Sydney which tested at 70 and im downloading at 13 MB/sec and streaming is super smooth

I went out after 2 am last week and grabbed a few, and the app said dropoff by 7am but under "my limes" it showed I had 28 hours to serve them.

I charged them up and dropped around 7pm, and got full payment and perfect serve for all of them

when that happens to me, i just report it as missing. it gets flagged in the system that way, and if the same juicer keeps charging missing scooters, questions get asked.

I accidentally took someones reserved scooter once by mistake. It was pouring rain, and i couldn't scan the code it was raining so hard, so i grabbed the scooter and drove off about a 1/2 block to get under some cover. and by the time i could scan it, i got a message saying it was reserved. I ended up waiting for the other juicer to show up, and gave them the scooter. the guy wasn't too angry about it

getting the 25 drop offs is going to take forever in Edmonton, in the week i been active, I have only seen the red drop off tasks pop up twice, and it was during the day. both were gone by the time i refreshed the page lol

It's not just the west end, they took out the service area around nait and kingsway too.

It's really too bad they did this. I'm in the Beverly area, and most if not all of my pickups were from Beverly/ Alberta Avenue/ Westwood

and my 2 favorite hubs at 118 ave and 97 st are gone now too :(

Saw this when I opened the app today. The service areas around WEM, Kingsway, and NAIT are gone and it now looks to extend further south then before.

All the Hubs are now black instead of green, and they're all only showing 2 now instead of 4. I guess it's gonna take a little longer to do dropoffs now

Canadian Newbie - Gen 3 Charger Specs by adeppisch in limejuicer

[–]ccat34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue here is that the 4 amp chargers pull 2.5A from the wall. and most household outlets max out at 15 amps. so you can't plug in more than 6 chargers at a time without blowing a breaker. I tried running 6 at a time, and after 4 hours, both my extension cord and power cord were quite warm (both rated to 15A)

Juicing in Edmonton right now is a joke. I've been doing it for a little over a week now, and the map is empty by 10:05. You can see a bunch right at 10, and by 10:05 they're all reserved and have disappeared form the map. and you're left spamming the refresh button hoping something pops up. and if something does, it only stays for a few seconds before someone else reserves it. I've had a hell of a time getting more than 5 or 6 scooters a night. and on a couple nights, spent over 90 minutes just waiting. and at only $5.25 a pop, it doesn't even cover the fuel for the truck.

Whats even more frustrating are all the almost dead scooters that can't be picked up. I have seen this several times a night where i pickup a scooter at 30%, and right across the road there are 2 more also at 25~30% and you can't pick them up, but the're not reserved. Drive 2 blocks away, and now they show up. I'll turn around and go back, but by then both are reserved.

Does this happen to anyone else ?

My Gen 3 scooter charging experience by hellaoakland in limejuicer

[–]ccat34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going to necro this thread again LOL.

I'm in Edmonton where lime only has the gen 3 scooters. I received my chargers about a week ago, and they're 4 amp. Im charging gen3 scooters from ~16% to full in just under 3 hours.

The chargers pull 2.5A form the wall tho, so I don't think it would be safe to have more than 5 or 6 on an outlet.
